This project was part of the final year of my degree. I came up with the idea after a student wanted a version of Bauhaus 93 but I decided to not continue working with them. This year i decided I wanted to make an angular version of Bauhaus 93 made of hexagons.

This was one of the many versions of the font. The main issue was that the numbers weren't the same size.

For this poster concept I made the main design in Illustrator. Then used neon green and blue to make the design eye catching.

I decided use a red and blue gradient to create contrast against the black. I decided on the name "New Haus 24" as it ties back to the original which is "Bauhaus 93".

This was one of my final poster concepts the idea was to show the old and new font. Then include the technical details in the right corner.

For the print version of my portfolio I used the finalised font throughout for headings. As it stands out and might intruige people into what is on the next page.

This image shows how the font works when it is printed. I think if I had more time I would have worked on the spacing and letter consistency.

For this spray painted design I used a draw insert for the background. Then glued on dictonary pages and cut out the stencil using a scalpel. However I forgot to take the stencil off quickly so some of the parts were not exact.

I decided to make a unique design I would spray the background and leave the shape of the 'S'. For the background I collaged Dictionary and Thesaurus pages. Overall this was another design I really liked.

This image shows a close up of the font. The design was on display at the colleges final degree exhibition. The design was effective as the neon green stood out from a distance.
